Joy Bohyun Jang is a Postdoc Researcher at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University in 2014. Her work focuses on the variation in the timing and type of life course events in the transition to adulthood and its consequences on later outcomes. Her research interests also include the association between adolescent substance use and the life course of young adults, family intergenerational relationships, cohort difference, and survey research and statistical methods.
